Derren Powell, FS tenured professional across a breadth of spectrum albeit client interaction/management, business development/relationship/stakeholder management and delivery at the core. C- suite influencer. Big Bank (and Challenger/Neo), Fintech, Consumer, Corporate and Private Banking acumen/exposure. Derren is the bridge between new entrants to the payments ecosystem and Mastercard. He joined Mastercard in 2018, having spent 22+ years in Financial Services working for HSBC & Citi across numerous roles and verticals. Derren’s true passion for technology, people and new business development (with collaboration, partnership underpinned by Purpose) is at the epicentre of his role where his focus is to support clients bringing a card proposition to market (in addition to helping clients navigate the Mastercard landscape). Derren is a passionate advocate for financial inclusion coupled with being wholly aligned to Mastercard’s overarching ethos of “doing well by doing good”.  He is an Ambassador for the KidsOut charity, and, outside of Covid is a volunteer with the First Love Foundation. Derren Powell brings experience from previous roles at Mastercard, Transact Payments Ltd, Magnamic Limited and HSBC. Derren Powell holds a 2014 - 2014 International Certificate in Investments & Wealth Management @ Chartered Institute of Investments & Securities (CISI).
