Sherri Haymond, co-leads a unique team at Mastercard, working with their most strategic partners to create solutions that shape the future of commerce and take businesses to the next level. Inspired by Mastercard’s longstanding focus on inclusive growth, Sherri Haymond is passionate about working hand in hand with mission-aligned companies to solve real-world problems for people and businesses around the world. Since joining Mastercard in 2010, Sherri has been at the forefront of initiatives driving the transformation of the payments ecosystem, playing a significant role in the development and commercialization of solutions such as mobile payments, tokenization, open banking, installments, and more. Sherri Haymond is executive vice president of Digital Partnerships at Mastercard. Sherri is responsible for business development and strategic partnerships globally with North America-headquartered digital partners, fintechs, and retail innovators. Previously, Sherri was senior vice president of digital channels, and senior vice president and managing counsel for global emerging payments and Mastercard Labs, where she led the development of industry Tokenization Standards, drove the commercialization and scale of Mastercard’s tokenization service with the Express Program, and launched the Commerce for Every Device program.  Sherri began her career as counsel at Mastercard, where she played a key role in developing Mastercard’s emerging payments strategy and launching Mastercard’s tokenization service, Mastercard Send, MasterPass, Mastercard Developers and Start Path.  Prior to Mastercard, Sherri covered payments companies as an equity investment analyst at Breeden Capital Management, securitized mortgages at Banc of America Securities, and practiced corporate finance law at Skadden Arps. Sherri holds a B.A. in Literature from Duke University and a J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School.  She serves on the board of MoCADA, the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, in Brooklyn, NY.
