About Alan Marquard

Alan Marquard is the global head of Transfer Solutions at Mastercard, encompassing Mastercard Move, Mastercard’s money transfer businesses, covering domestic and cross-border disbursements, remittances, account-to-account and B2B payments (with Commercial Solutions), and Mastercard’s global Bill Pay businesses. He also leads work relating to the G20 Roadmap on XB Payments. Previously, as an Executive Management Committee member of CLS, leading strategy, product, and sales, he led innovation in business models, services, and technologies in the context of the world's most systemically important payment system. He has also had an extensive career as General Counsel of CLS and previously as General Counsel in corporate and investment banking environments.
