Mukul Sukhani began his financial services career with American Express in India, working on both the merchant acquiring and card issuing sides of the business. During his time there, he led Client Management & Partnerships and played a key role in launching industry-leading products.
After exploring a startup in the loyalty space, he joined Citi's card business in India as the head of merchant acquiring, partnerships, and digital. His journey with Citi took him to Vietnam, where he managed the fastest-growing Cards business in Asia, and then to the Philippines, one of Citi's top three credit card markets in Asia, as the business head for credit cards and personal loans.
Following a successful and fulfilling tenure across three countries at Citi, he transitioned to Mastercard in India.
