Today, Estanislau Bassols is Cielo's CEO. With over 16 years of senior executive experience, he was honored to lead great teams as President of the Brazilian Division of Mastercard, CEO of SKY, and CEO of VR Benefits. He is on the Board of Directors of Wine.com and on the Advisory Board of O Boticário. He also acted as a Member of the Advisory Board of VR and GPTW – Great Place to Work. In C-level positions, he has overseen the Strategic Planning areas and has been responsible for the P&L of the B2B and then B2C areas at Telefônica-Vivo.
Estanislau Bassols holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) and has MBAs from national institutions such as Ibmec and FIA, as well as an international executive MBA from Trium, in a joint program of the LSE – London School of Economics (United Kingdom), Stern – New York University (USA) and HEC – École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Paris (France).
