About Oliver Jenkyn
Oliver Jenkyn is Visa’s Group President & President for North America, and sits on the company’s Executive Committee.
As President of North America, Mr. Jenkyn has all business, financial, strategic and operational responsibility for the company’s business in the region.
In his capacity as Group President, Mr. Jenkyn is responsible for Visa’s Global New Businesses (Commercial/B2B, Government, and Visa Direct) and Visa’s Global Clients (growth partnerships and commercial deal negotiations).
Prior to Visa, Mr. Jenkyn was a partner at McKinsey & Company in the San Francisco, New York, London and Toronto offices, and a leader of the firm’s North American retail banking practice and global payments practice. Mr. Jenkyn also led McKinsey’s relationship with Visa for several years, playing an integral role in Visa’s IPO.
Mr. Jenkyn holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from McGill University and master’s degrees in finance and financial policy from Harvard University and Queen’s University. Mr. Jenkyn serves or has served on a variety of non-profit boards including Tipping Point (a San Francisco nonprofit dedicated to fighting poverty and homelessness) and the California Academy of Sciences.
Mr. Jenkyn lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
