About Nicky Alexander
Nicky is an experienced, versatile Chief Operating Officer, and qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services Sector. Nicky is currently heading up Bó Operations, a fully digital programme, which she set up from scratch. Achievements include: the fastest ever implementation of infrastructure and processes to enable Faster Payments scheme membership; designing new settlement process with the Bank of England that enables settlement from multiple infrastructure stacks in relation to the same Banking licence. Prior to that, Nicky has held posts at companies including PWC, UBS & Deutsche Bank as well as RBS, specialising in: divestment, business transformation, including digital journeys; integration; Regulatory change and offshoring. Nicky has also held senior posts in strategy, front office and Operations. She joined RBS in 2008 to work on its integration with ABN AMRO and following the events in the Banking Industry in 2008/9, Nicky ran a component of the Investment Bank’s part of the Government bail-out solution. Since then Nicky has been involved in the resultant divestment activity, program managing a number of Divestments including the $7.3 bn Sale of Aviation Capital, as well as RBS Capital Resolution’s country exit/close downs and run down activities. Post that Nicky: programme managed RBS’ Bankwide Simplification effort which looked at end to end journeys, automating & driving efficiencies through the organisation; was appointed head of Shared Operations Change with responsibility of teams in India, Poland and the UK. Nicky motivates teams to deliver with a no nonsense ‘can do’ attitude, energy and dedication.
