Martyn Pointer, Winner of 6 National Awards and a prestigious HSBC 'Above and Beyond' Risk Award. Accomplished in managing teams of up to 30 people (both in-house and remotely) and skilled in cost and resource management to bring complex time bound projects to fruition. Martyn Pointer, Conceived an idea for the HSBC Fraud and Cyber Awareness app and led the development and large scale deployment to 9 countries (UK + MENAT). The app is the first of its kind for a major bank, and winner of the ‘Qorus/Accenture Global Banking Innovation Gold Award’ (Offering Innovation), ‘Cyber Outstanding Security Performance Awards’ (Outstanding Customer Services Initiative & Outstanding Cybersecurity Training/Awareness Initiative), 'Tackling Economic Crime Awards' (Outstanding New Product), 'Cyber Security Awards' (Cyber Security Financial Team of the Year) and 'Retail Knowledge Fraud Awards' (Innovative Risk Management Solution). Also led on the strategy and UK delivery of the HSBC Female Entrepreneurship Fund. Skilled in people management and currently leading on cyber education and awareness for customers globally.
