Press Release: OMS Boosts Mortgage Efficiency with Rightmove AVM Integration as Molo Goes Live | Featured Image by FF News

One Mortgage System (OMS) has integrated Rightmove’s automated valuation model (AVM) into its Originations platform, enabling lenders to automate property assessments within the mortgage application workflow. This development, with Molo as the first live lender, addresses the critical need for fintech-driven efficiency by removing manual data rekeying and accelerating early-stage case assessments for specialist lenders.

What was announced

The integration brings Rightmove’s property valuation technology directly into the OMS Originations platform. This allows lenders to assess eligible properties using the portal’s AVM without the need to toggle between different software systems or manually input data multiple times. By embedding this functionality, the platform aims to streamline the initial stages of the mortgage process, helping lenders identify suitable cases earlier and pinpointing where more intensive, manual valuation work is required.

Molo, a specialist lender, is the inaugural firm to implement this capability. The move is part of a broader expansion of third-party services within the OMS lender technology suite. The technical objective is to eliminate the "hand-offs" and duplicated tasks that typically slow down mortgage applications. By delivering property data directly into the origination flow, the system ensures that information reaches decision-makers without creating additional manual steps. This integration is particularly relevant for lenders operating in the UK market who rely on accurate, real-time property data to manage risk and improve operational throughput.

The system is designed to handle the assessment of eligible properties automatically, reducing the friction often associated with the valuation phase of a loan application. This capability allows for a more fluid transition from application to offer, as the AVM provides an immediate data point that can either confirm a property's suitability or flag it for a physical survey. By bringing this functionality into Originations, lenders can obtain property valuation information without switching between separate systems, supporting earlier assessment of suitable cases.

"Mortgage applications rarely slow down because of one major issue. More often, time is lost through a series of hand-offs, duplicated tasks and points where somebody has to wait for information before they can make the next decision."

The companies involved

One Mortgage System (OMS) provides a comprehensive CRM and loan origination platform designed for both intermediaries and lenders. The firm has established itself as a central player in the UK mortgage technology space, offering tools that manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a loan. Its platform is used to streamline complex workflows in the specialist lending sector, where manual intervention has historically been a bottleneck. OMS provides a single-system solution that covers everything from lead generation to completion, aiming to provide a "one-stop-shop" for mortgage professionals.

Molo is a specialist digital lender and is part of the ColCap group, following its acquisition by the Australian mortgage lender. Molo focuses on leveraging technology to simplify the buy-to-let mortgage process, aiming to provide faster and more transparent lending decisions. Its parent company, ColCap, provides the broader corporate structure for Molo’s operations in the UK. Molo has positioned itself as a digital-first lender, often acting as an early adopter for new technologies that reduce the time-to-offer for brokers and their clients.

Rightmove is the UK’s largest property portal. While primarily known as a consumer-facing platform for property listings, it also provides sophisticated data services to the financial sector, including its automated valuation model (AVM). This technology uses extensive property data to provide instant estimates of property value, which are increasingly being integrated into professional lending workflows to enhance speed and accuracy.

What FF News has reported before

FF News has closely followed the growth of One Mortgage System as it expands its footprint in the specialist lending market. We previously reported on how OMS and Step One Finance Launch Bespoke Loan Origination Platform to Streamline Specialist Lending, highlighting the company's focus on tailored technical solutions. The firm’s ability to handle complex loan types was further evidenced when OMS and Scroll Finance Streamline Second Charge Buy-to-Let via New API Integration.

Beyond product launches, OMS has gained industry recognition, as seen when One Mortgage System Secures Top Spot as UK’s Leading Mortgage CRM in Benchmark Study. The company has also strengthened its internal leadership to support this growth, including when OMS Appointed Simon Tippett as Head of Delivery to oversee its evolving technical delivery.

What this means

The integration of AVMs into core origination platforms signals a shift in the mortgage industry away from siloed data tools toward unified ecosystems. For specialist lenders, the pressure to match the speed of mainstream digital banks is intense, and reducing manual "hand-offs" is the only way to remain competitive. By utilizing Rightmove’s data, OMS is putting pressure on other CRM providers to offer similar deep-level integrations. The industry now faces a question of data accuracy versus speed; while AVMs accelerate the process, the reliance on automated models for complex specialist cases will continue to be a point of scrutiny for risk departments across the sector.
