Mortgage Brain and LMS Deepen Integration to Embed Conveyancing Directly Within CRM Brain
By Lauren Towner · 7 October 2026

Mortgage Brain and LMS have integrated the LMS Select conveyancing platform directly into CRM Brain, removing the need for brokers to use separate portals or re-key client data. This deep integration streamlines the workflow for approximately 15,000 users, allowing them to manage the entire conveyancing lifecycle alongside mortgage sourcing within a single digital environment.
What was announced
The integration of LMS Select into CRM Brain represents a significant deepening of a partnership that began in March 2023. While Mortgage Brain users previously had access to LMS Select as a separate portal, the platform is now a native component of the CRM workflow. This allows brokers to request conveyancing quotes, compare options side-by-side, and issue instructions without leaving their primary case management system.
The system is designed to return secure quotes in under 30 seconds. It supports four primary transaction types: purchase, remortgage, sale, and combined sale and purchase. Beyond the initial instruction, the integration automates the administrative tail-end of the process. When a conveyancer is instructed, CRM Brain generates a linked referral record, enabling brokers to track progress through to completion alongside the rest of the mortgage case.
For firms that operate on a referral fee basis, the system automatically records these fees against the specific case. This data feeds directly into the firm’s commission processing, providing a transparent view of revenue generated from conveyancing referrals. The service maintains existing benefits, such as access to lender-approved law firms and dedicated support from the LMS Select team, but eliminates the friction of manual data entry and multi-platform management. The goal is to provide a more joined-up journey for clients, allowing brokers to arrange conveyancing at the same time as the mortgage application.
"Our partnership with LMS has come a long way since 2023. What started as giving our users access to LMS Select has grown into something much more joined up, with conveyancing now built directly into CRM Brain. It shows how a partnership can mature when both sides stay focused on what brokers really need. Conveyancing is a critical part of getting a case over the line, and brokers can now quote, compare and instruct without ever leaving the system they're already working in, with the referral and any fee tracked automatically. We'll continue working with LMS and our other partners to bring more of the client journey together in CRM Brain."

The companies involved
LMS, also known as Legal Marketing Services, is a prominent fixture in the UK conveyancing and property technology market. The company provides a range of services designed to bridge the gap between lenders, law firms, and brokers, focusing on security and efficiency in the property transaction process. Its LMS Select platform is a core component of its offering, providing a panel of vetted, lender-approved solicitors to the wider mortgage industry.
Mortgage Brain is a major provider of mortgage technology solutions in the United Kingdom. Its suite of products includes sourcing systems, point-of-sale software, and CRM platforms like CRM Brain, which are used by thousands of intermediaries to manage their client pipelines. The company has a long history of developing tools that automate the mortgage application process, from initial sourcing to final submission. By integrating third-party services like conveyancing and insurance directly into its CRM, Mortgage Brain positions itself as a central hub for the entire home-buying journey, aiming to reduce the administrative burden on brokers while improving the speed of service for end consumers.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely followed the expansion of both companies' ecosystems. In October 2026, we reported on how Mortgage Brain and Plannr Partner to Streamline Mortgage Sourcing and Submissions. This followed a similar move in September when Mortgage Brain and Paymentshield Partner to Automate Home Insurance for Brokers, showing a clear pattern of CRM-centric integrations.
LMS has been equally active in the specialist market. In late September, LMS and Precise Partner to Accelerate Specialist Residential Mortgage Conveyancing. Furthermore, in July, we covered a major industry collaboration where LMS, Landmark, InfoTrack, and Decision First Unite to Revolutionize UK Home Buying Process, highlighting the company's role in broader industry standardisation efforts.
What this means
The move toward "all-in-one" CRM systems is a direct response to the increasing fragmentation of the UK mortgage market. By embedding conveyancing natively, Mortgage Brain is putting significant pressure on standalone sourcing tools that still require manual data hand-offs. It reflects a broader industry shift where the CRM is no longer just a database but an execution engine. The industry is moving toward a model where the broker's value is tied to their ability to manage the entire transaction lifecycle, not just the mortgage product. This puts legacy platforms that lack deep API integrations at a competitive disadvantage, as convenience becomes a primary driver for intermediary loyalty.
