LMS and Precise Partner to Accelerate Specialist Residential Mortgage Conveyancing
By Lauren Towner · 30 September 2026

Specialist lender Precise has integrated with LMS’s Panel Link platform to automate and secure its residential mortgage conveyancing. For fintech professionals, this move highlights the ongoing digitisation of the specialist lending sector, where reducing manual touchpoints for complex borrower profiles—such as the self-employed—is becoming a critical competitive advantage for established lenders.
What was announced
Precise, a specialist lender under the OSB Group umbrella, has officially joined the LMS Panel Link platform. This partnership is designed to enhance operational processes specifically for Precise’s residential mortgage products. By connecting with LMS, Precise gains access to a network of vetted, compliant law firms, aiming to streamline case handling and accelerate the journey from application to completion for its customers.
The integration provides Precise with three core digital solutions. First is Secure Link, a knowledge base containing lender-approved FAQs intended to minimize the time spent on post-offer queries. Second is Document Distribution, which automates the delivery of necessary paperwork to relevant stakeholders. Finally, the lender will utilize Electronic Certificate of Title (eCOT), a tool that digitises a traditionally manual and resource-heavy stage of the conveyancing process to ensure greater certainty and speed.
Precise focuses on traditionally underserved market segments, including self-employed individuals and those with adverse credit histories. The lender follows in the footsteps of its sister brand, Rely, which joined Panel Link in 2025. By adopting the same suite of LMS products as Rely, Precise aims to achieve greater connectivity and efficiency across its residential portfolio, addressing the increasing demand for faster turnaround times in the UK mortgage market.
"Having been closely involved in the implementation of Panel Link, it's been encouraging to see the positive impact the platform is already having on our processes. By improving connectivity, reducing manual touchpoints and supporting more efficient case progression, Panel Link helps us deliver a smoother journey for brokers, solicitors and customers while enabling quicker turnaround times across residential applications."

The companies involved
LMS is a prominent provider of conveyancing services in the United Kingdom, positioning itself as a central hub for panel management and secure data exchange between lenders and law firms. The company offers a variety of digital tools designed to mitigate risk and improve the transparency of property transactions. LMS has established itself as a key infrastructure player in the UK mortgage market, frequently collaborating with major financial institutions to digitise the "back-end" of home buying.
Precise is a specialist mortgage lender that operates as part of the OSB Group (OneSavings Bank). The OSB Group is a family of specialist financial services brands that includes other lenders such as Rely. Precise differentiates itself by providing dynamic lending solutions to borrowers who may not meet the strict criteria of mainstream high-street banks, such as those with non-standard income or complex credit profiles. As part of a larger specialist banking group, Precise leverages shared technological frameworks, as evidenced by its adoption of the same LMS tools previously integrated by its sister brand, Rely, in 2025.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has followed LMS’s expansion and its role in industry-wide digitisation efforts closely. In 2026, the company participated in a major collaborative effort when LMS, Landmark, InfoTrack, and Decision First Unite to Revolutionize UK Home Buying Process. This followed other strategic moves, such as when Twenty7tec Integrates LMS Select into RESEARCH to Streamline Sourcing-to-instruction Journey to improve broker workflows.
The company’s geographical and product expansion has also been a focus, notably when Danske Bank expands work with LMS to Northern Ireland following initial success. Additionally, LMS has made significant strides in fraud prevention and security, reporting that its Enhanced Confirmly Now Drives Automatic Bank Account Verification in 97% of Cases.
What this means
This partnership signals a shift in the specialist lending market, where the complexity of the borrower profile is no longer an excuse for slow, manual processing. As mainstream lenders digitise, specialist firms are under immense pressure to match those speeds or risk losing brokers to more efficient competitors. By adopting LMS’s Panel Link, Precise is effectively commoditising the administrative side of specialist lending. The move raises a broader industry question: as the "plumbing" of conveyancing becomes standardised across both high-street and specialist lenders, will the primary battleground for market share shift entirely to risk appetite and product pricing?
