About Alan McIntyre

I’m a Senior Managing Director at Accenture and our Global Banking lead. Based in our New York office, I’m responsible for the overall vision, strategy, investment priorities, and client offerings for the Banking sector. I also support our extensive network of alliance partners.

Before joining Accenture in 2016, I was the North American Managing Partner for Oliver Wyman and worked with retail and commercial banking clients with a focus on enterprise strategy and performance improvement programs. I led major merger and acquisition assignments at the board level, served as a personal adviser to multiple bank CEOs in North America and Europe, steered many bank-wide transformation programs, and advised on multiple new business launches.

Outside of work, I have a passion for classical music, and I serve as chair of the Stamford Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut. I’m also involved in several educational and cultural organizations in my native Scotland, including being Patron of The Institute of Contemporary Scotland and a monthly columnist for the Scottish Review magazine. In April 2018, I was inducted into the Global Scot Hall of Fame to recognize my contribution as a Scottish Business Ambassador.
