Fluxifi and Hackford Partner to Revolutionize UK Mortgage Advice with AI-Driven Firm Intelligence
By Lauren Towner · 13 October 2026

Fluxifi has entered an exclusive partnership with Hackford to accelerate its growth within the UK mortgage and property finance advice sector. By integrating Hackford’s data analysis and new Model Context Protocol, Fluxifi aims to identify and engage with over 4,700 FCA-regulated firms, streamlining the onboarding of newly authorised businesses into its compliance-first advisory platform.
What was announced
Fluxifi is targeting the UK advice market, specifically established and newly directly authorised (DA) firms, with plans to later include appointed representative (AR) firms. Hackford provides the market intelligence for this expansion; their data indicates there are currently more than 4,700 firms with active FCA status for mortgage advice or arranging, 88 of which were first authorised in the last 12 months.
The technical core of the partnership involves Fluxifi adopting Hackford’s newly released Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection. This beta feature allows Fluxifi to use AI agents, such as Claude, to perform natural language searches on regulated-firm data. This enables the platform to filter firms by regulatory profile or authorisation date to ensure outreach is matched to business needs.
Functionally, Fluxifi automates administrative burdens for advisers working across residential mortgages, buy-to-let, protection, bridging, and development finance. The platform pulls key details from bank statements, payslips, and other client documents to generate draft suitability reports for adviser review. This automation arrives as UK market activity increases; Twenty7tec reported a 23% rise in platform searches between August and September, rising from 1.56 million to 1.91 million, a trend led primarily by remortgaging activity.
"I worked as a mortgage adviser before building Fluxifi, and too much of the job was re-keying the same information and writing up cases after the advice had been given. Fluxifi is built to give advisers that time back. Hackford gives us a clear view of the firms we’re building for, particularly newly authorised firms choosing their systems for the first time, and Dan has been a brilliant partner, acting on our feedback within days."

The companies involved
Fluxifi is a compliance-centric platform designed for mortgage, protection, and property finance advisers. It positions itself as a solution to the "re-keying" problem, integrating document processing with deal management and automated report drafting. The company has previously focused on deep integrations to streamline the advice journey, particularly for those working in complex areas like development finance and bridging where documentation requirements are high.
Hackford is a data and analysis provider specialising in the UK regulatory landscape. By providing granular insights into FCA-regulated firms, Hackford enables fintech providers to map their total addressable market with high precision. Its recent development of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection signals a move toward making regulatory data more accessible through generative AI and natural language processing. Dan Robinson, Founder and CEO of Hackford, leads the firm in providing these insights to help technology providers reach the right advice firms at the right time based on their specific regulatory permissions and history.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has previously tracked Fluxifi’s efforts to reduce friction in the mortgage advice process. In September, we covered how Fluxifi Streamlines Mortgage Advice with Twenty7tec RESEARCH Integration. That move allowed advisers to pull sourcing data directly into the Fluxifi environment, further supporting the company’s goal of eliminating the double-entry of data. This latest partnership with Hackford builds on that foundation by shifting the focus from product integration to market-wide distribution and firm identification using advanced AI-driven search capabilities.
What this means
This partnership highlights a growing trend where fintechs are no longer just selling tools, but are using sophisticated data layers to find their specific "ideal customer profile" within a crowded regulatory environment. As the UK mortgage market sees a resurgence in remortgaging activity, the pressure on advisers to maintain compliance without sacrificing speed is immense. By leveraging AI to parse regulatory data, Fluxifi is bypassing traditional lead generation in favour of a data-driven outreach strategy. This puts traditional CRM and back-office providers under pressure to offer similar levels of market intelligence or risk losing newly authorised firms to more agile, data-integrated competitors.
