Euroclear-Backed KYBIX Launches AI Platform to Eliminate Repetitive KYB Processes
By Lauren Towner · 15 September 2026

Kybix, an AI-powered Know Your Business (KYB) information exchange, has launched to address the friction of verifying complex ownership structures and maintaining regulatory compliance. Backed by Euroclear and venture studio Liminal, the platform aims to replace fragmented manual processes with a secure, reusable data network, enabling financial institutions to shift toward perpetual KYB.
What was announced
Kybix has entered the market as a dedicated platform for collecting, sharing, and updating trusted business identity information. The platform is designed for financial institutions and multinational companies that struggle with the increasing burden of verifying existing customers and navigating evolving regulations. By integrating public and private data into a single digital environment, Kybix allows business information to be requested, provided, approved, and enriched securely.
The technical foundation of the platform combines AI-powered research and questionnaires with data gathered through registries and APIs. This is supplemented by private information supplied directly by the businesses themselves. One of the core functionalities is the ability for information to be reused across different trusted relationships, which reduces the need for companies to repeatedly provide the same documentation to multiple partners. The platform brings together secure information exchange, third-party connectivity, and decision support while maintaining permission-based access and human oversight.
The venture is a Euroclear portfolio company, developed in collaboration with Liminal. It builds upon the existing network and infrastructure of Euroclear’s GlobalWatch platform. The leadership team is composed of CEO Ingo Ernst, COO Isabel Feliciano-Wendleken, Chief Client Officer Marie-Charlotte Henseval, CTO Marc des Garets, and Product Director Grant Greenwood. The platform currently focuses on creating richer digital business profiles, with the stated intention to extend into monitoring and risk insight to facilitate a shift from periodic reviews toward perpetual KYB.
"Kybix is building a trusted global network for business identity information, combining AI-powered technology with the established network and financial infrastructure expertise of Euroclear. Our ambition is to make trusted business information easier to maintain and securely reuse, creating the foundations for a shift from periodic reviews towards perpetual KYB."
Ingo Ernst, CEO at Kybix.
The companies involved
Kybix enters the regtech space with significant backing from established financial market infrastructure. Euroclear, its primary backer, is a major provider of post-trade services, including settlement, safe-keeping, and asset servicing for cross-border transactions. As a central securities depository, Euroclear plays a critical role in the global financial ecosystem, ensuring the smooth flow of securities and cash across various jurisdictions. The company has a long history of managing high-security financial data and maintaining market connectivity.
The platform was developed alongside Liminal, a venture studio formerly known as Menyala. Liminal was founded by Temasek, the Singapore-headquartered global investment company, and focuses on building new ventures that leverage emerging technologies. By combining Liminal’s startup agility and access to Asian technology networks with Euroclear’s established market reach, Kybix is positioned as a bridge between traditional financial infrastructure and modern AI-driven compliance tools. The executive team brings together expertise from across the financial services and technology sectors, specifically in regulated markets and identity management.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has extensively covered Euroclear’s efforts to modernize financial infrastructure through digital partnerships and technological innovation. Recently, the publication reported on how Euroclear and HSBC Partner to Launch AutoFX for T+1 Settlement, a move aimed at streamlining foreign exchange processes. In the realm of digital assets and debt issuance, Standard Chartered Issues $200M Digitally Native Notes on Euroclear D-FMI highlighted the company's role in advancing blockchain-based financial instruments. While Kybix is a new entity, the broader trend of reusable identity in the sector was recently explored when Sumsub and Caliber Launch Reusable On-Chain Identity for Tokenized Real Estate, reflecting a growing industry appetite for portable, verified data.
What this means
The launch of Kybix signals a critical shift in how the industry views compliance from a static exercise to a dynamic, data-driven process. By leveraging the existing infrastructure of Euroclear, the platform addresses the primary pain point of KYB: the redundancy of data collection. For too long, the lack of a unified exchange has forced businesses to undergo identical verification processes for every new financial relationship. This announcement puts pressure on traditional data providers who rely on siloed, static databases. The success of this model will depend on whether the industry can truly move toward a "perpetual" state, where risk profiles are updated in real-time rather than during three-year review cycles.
