About Sarah Saigol

Sarah Saigol leads the Global Transaction Solutions team within Corporate & Institutional Banking, part of the Divisional leadership team, reporting into the CEO C&IB. The role encompasses product, strategic and commercial management as well as distribution of all Liquidity, Payments, Data and RFB Traded Products, crucial to the delivery of the CIB strategy. Sarah is enthusiastic about the benefits we can bring to our clients by aligning Distribution, Product and Transformation together in a collective purpose - to provide a market leading Transaction Banking experience! Sarah Saigol joined LBG on a graduate scheme in 2000 and has spent her career in a variety of Sales, Trading and COO roles within the Financial Markets business until 2020 when she took the opportunity to take on broader management responsibilities in a Global Transaction Banking leadership position. Highlights of her career have included setting up and running the Ringfenced Bank Traded Products function and managing the Commercial Bank deposit balance sheet, with responsibility for over 40% of CB P&L in her previous role. Sarah Saigol is an experienced leader and is passionate about creating inclusive, engaged and high performing teams who operate with purpose. Sarah Saigol graduated with a degree in History from Cambridge University and has recently achieved a Distinction in the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her 11 year old twins, art history, the Telegraph crossword and keep fit.
