Ranil Boteju, with 25 years of global experience transforming businesses through advanced analytics, data, machine learning product delivery, and data commercialization, he has held senior leadership roles at top-tier organizations including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Vodafone, Standard Chartered Bank, and HSBC. Currently, Ranil Boteju serves as the Group Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Lloyds Banking Group, where his goal is to enable the bank’s purpose of "Helping Britain Prosper" through Data and AI. He is the accountable executive for delivering the bank’s Data and Machine Learning Strategy. Additionally, he is a Non-Executive Director at the UK's Information Commissioner's Office, which upholds information rights in the public interest, promoting openness and data privacy. His core expertise includes industrializing and scaling machine learning data services to transform customer experiences, journeys, and deliver personalized interactions. He has significant experience building and leading multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams focused on data commercialization outcomes. A dual citizen of Australia and the UK, he has lived and worked in Sydney, Auckland, Hong Kong, Singapore, and London, with team management and business coverage experience across Europe, China, Asia Pacific, the US, Mexico, and MENA.
