About Perttu Jalkanen

Perttu Jalkanen, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer at AREX, has over 20 years’ experience in FinTech business development and sales. Prior to AREX, Perttu was the VP of Business development of FinTech start-up Maventa, which rapidly grew to 20,000 corporate customers processing billions of Euros worth of e-invoices annually. Prior to that, Perttu was head of business development for the market leading treasury, high volume FX trading and back office consolidation provider, Wall Street Systems. Based in London, Perttu setup and overlooked business development activities globally, which contributed significantly to growth of Wall Street Systems’ revenues. WSS customers included companies like RBS, Daimler, UBS, Veolia and BP. Previous to Wall Street Systems, Perttu was director of business development and marketing at leading treasury management system provider, Trema. At Trema he built indirect sales channel from ground up, including global alliance with Accenture, which brought in millions of Euros in repeatable engagements around Trema’s treasury management solutions. Trema’s customers included companies like Toyota, European Central Bank and European Investment bank. Perttu holds a MSc in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology and speaks 6 languages.
