About Josh Vernon

Josh Vernon is the co-founder and CEO of Earnd, a financial wellness company that helps employees manage their earnings. Josh was previously an investment team member at Our Innovation Fund, LP from July 2017 to June 2018. Josh has always had a passion for helping people improve their financial wellbeing. This led him to co-found Earnd, which provides employees with instant access to their wages so they can better manage their earnings and avoid expensive fees. Since its launch in 2018, Earnd has helped thousands of employees across Australia and the UK improve their financial wellbeing. Josh is passionate about making Earnd the global leader in financial wellness and is constantly innovating to make the company better. Josh Vernon did their HSC at Moriah College and then went on to do a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics (Honours) as well as a Bachelor of Business in Finance at the University of Technology Sydney. Josh is an experienced entrepreneur with expertise in scaling software solutions and creating high-functioning teams. Josh led its sale to the $6bn Softbanked-backed Greensill Capital in 2020. As CEO, Josh managed the resale of Earnd twice following Greensill’s collapse, to Wagestream and finally Humanforce.
