Banking Transformation Summit to Unite Europe’s Banking Leaders in May to Address What’s Next

Banking Transformation Summit, Europe’s essential gathering for senior banking and financial services executives, will return to London this 19-20th May. This senior-level meeting will bring together 1,000 of the most forward-thinking leaders in banking to confront the strategic, technological and organisation challenges reshaping the industry.

As Europe’s banks and building societies face mounting pressure to modernise at pace, Banking Transformation Summit provides a dedicated forum for the executives and transformation leaders driving change from within. The 2026 programme is structured around six core themes – The AI Frontier, Intelligent Infrastructure, Money in Motion, Trust in the System, Power to the People, and Human & Machine Leadership.

A Speaker Faculty of Active Transformation Leaders

This year’s speaker faculty has been drawn from organisations currently engaged in large-scale transformation programmes. Confirmed contributors include CXOs, Directors, Heads of Department and VPs from companies like HSBC, Rabobank, Nottingham Building Society, Cynergy Bank, Shawbrook, Unity Trust Bank, Hampden Bank, Monzo, Bank of England, Allica Bank, Nationwide, NatWest, Standard Chartered, Lloyds, and Barclays, among others.

Rather than offering retrospective analysis, the programme is designed to share real-world insight from senior leaders navigating transformation in live environments – making it a uniquely practical and relevant opportunity for attendees to learn what’s actually working right now.

Designed for Europe’s Senior Banking Leadership

Banking Transformation Summit is designed specifically for CXOs, Directors, Heads of Department and VPs operating within Europe’s banks and building societies. The programme has been built with senior leaders in mind, addressing the decisions that will define the next decade of financial services – from scaling AI and modernising core infrastructure to navigating new payment landscapes and redefining leadership for the digital age.

A Networking Experience that Begins Before the Summit

Banking Transformation Summit has been designed to maximise the value of every connection made across the two days, and beyond! Networking begins before attendees even arrive at Tobacco Dock, with access to the official event app available to sponsors, bank attendees, and speakers in advance. The app enables those attendees to browse the attendee list, connect with peers, and schedule one-to-one meetings ahead of the summit itself, ensuring no introduction is left to chance.

The networking programme kicks off in the evening of Monday 18th May, with a pre-event mixer providing an informal setting for attendees to meet ahead of the main programme. Throughout the two days, dedicated networking time is built into the agenda, ensuring that conversations initiated in sessions can be continued and deepened between them.

For those looking to extend the experience beyond the main stage, the summit also offers an ‘After Hours’ candid panel – a relaxed, off-the-record session designed to encourage the kind of dialogue that rarely makes it into formal conference sessions. The evening concludes with ‘One for the Road’; a pub crawl through London that gives attendees the chance to connect in a more informal manner.

Together, these touchpoints are designed to ensure that attendees leave Banking Transformation Summit not only better informed and armed with new perspectives on how to deliver transformation, but with a professional network that continues to deliver value long after the summit has finished.

Complimentary Attendance for Banking Leaders

Senior leaders within banks and building societies are invited to apply for a complimentary ticket at the summit. Applications are subject to qualification criteria, and available via the official event website.
