“When I joined Curve 2.5 years ago, I had no idea how challenging and rewarding being in a Fintech could be. It has been a remarkable journey as we have navigated Brexit, Wirecard, and Covid while scaling to a global, multi-product platform,” Oestmann has written.

“I am grateful to all the talented employees and partners that I have had the privilege to work alongside as we overcame obstacles and achieved success together,” she added.

Before joining Curve, she spent 15 years at American Express in the US, Europe and the UK in a variety of roles, then she moved on to head up operations at Samsung Pay.

“However, I have decided that the time is right for me to leave Curve and after a short break I will make my next move. In the meantime, I wish all the amazing Curvers my very best.  Remember if you are brave of heart and bold in action good things will come!”

After opening its North American office in 2020 and raising $95m in funding in 2021, Curve has just recently launched in the US.

“Curve is evolving and to launch in the US is an incredibly exciting milestone for us,” founder and CEO of Curve Shachar Bialick said.
