Alex Martin – Clearspeed – Insurtech Insights 2023
At Insurtech Insights 2023 we spoke to Alex Martin, CEO of Clearspeed about what they’re doing in the InsurTech space.
They’re solving the problem of “finding risk in large volumes of people at scale and on a continuous basis.” They’re addressing the trade offs between straight through processing and fraud detection and working at new levels in the insurance market, partnering with the US government and military to add value there.
Alex also talked about how the tech can be used to fast track and clear people even at the underwriting process and explored some of the challenges he and the company have faced up until this point, including getting a seat at the table. Now they’ve got there, there are new and exciting challenges around innovation.
“Now that we’re there it’s all about having a spirit of creativity. There’s an imperative to innovate to move this whole thing forward.”
