FIS has launched the Agentic Insights Suite, an AI-driven platform designed to provide the office of the CFO with predictive intelligence on cash flow and risk. By unifying fragmented data across disconnected systems, the suite enables finance professionals to move beyond retrospective reporting toward active liquidity management in an era of elevated capital costs.

What was announced

The FIS Agentic Insights Suite functions as a central intelligence hub for finance, credit, and treasury teams. It is built to address a significant adoption gap in the industry; while 46% of global finance leaders in a Deloitte survey identified working capital optimization as a primary use case for agentic AI, only 14% have successfully integrated such agents. The suite aims to close this divide by cleaning and connecting data from internal systems—including ERP, CRM, and treasury platforms—with external sources like public data and credit bureaus.

A key component of the launch is the multi-horizon cash flow forecasting module. Unlike traditional tools that provide a single estimate, this module utilizes machine learning to run multiple simulations, testing how variables such as faster outflows or delayed inflows impact overall liquidity. The suite also provides real-time account scoring and actionable recommendations, allowing teams to prioritize high-priority risks immediately rather than reconciling conflicting numbers by hand.

The platform is designed for rapid deployment, typically becoming operational within weeks through a self-serve setup. It serves as an intelligence layer that integrates directly with existing FIS workflows, specifically within Receivables products like GETPAID and BillerIQ, as well as Treasury products including Integrity and Quantum. Users interact with the system through a natural language interface and Power BI dashboards. Planned future releases for the suite will add payment anomaly detection and dispute forecasting capabilities.

"Most finance teams can tell you what happened to their cash last quarter; very few can tell you what happens next month with confidence," said Andrés Choussy, President, Capital Markets at FIS. "FIS Agentic Insights Suite changes that: it does the work of pulling together credit, treasury and market signals and showing a CFO where the risk sits before it reaches the books. That is how FIS helps clients put their money to work, turning cash from something they report on into something they actively manage."

What this means

The shift from "generative" AI to "agentic" AI represents a critical turning point for the fintech sector. For years, the office of the CFO has been burdened by information trapped in silos. By moving toward autonomous agents that can reconcile these datasets, FIS is putting pressure on traditional ERP providers who have historically struggled with cross-platform interoperability. As capital remains expensive, the ability to predict a cash shortfall before it appears on a balance sheet is becoming a baseline requirement. This raises a fundamental question: as AI handles forecasting and risk scoring, will the treasury analyst's role shift to strategic oversight, or will mid-market finance departments consolidate?
