At Fintech Meetup 2023, the FF News team sat down for a conversation with Eric Lapin, the president of FormFree. FormFree is a technology company that aim to build a more transparent and inclusive credit and capital market by enabling creditors to understand a person’s ability to pay and willingness to pay.

“Our token, which is called passport token, allows the consumer to opt-in via their phone to the credentials to their banking accounts. So that’s direct source data, we like to call it direct for the consumers.”

“On the inclusive lending side of things, we have what’s called a RIKI which is our residual income knowledge index. The RIKI is on top of the data and has a non-biased approach for reviewing the ability to pay for any consumer. So looking at cash flow analysis, looking at income employment & discretionary income. It helps those consumers that traditionally and unintentionally have been left out or considered invisible in the credit markets.”
