Press Release: The Paytech Magazine Issue #19 | Featured Image by FF News

The Paytech Magazine Issue #19 is live. Fresh from Sibos 2026 in Miami, this edition brings together the banks, networks and payment providers rebuilding how money moves: always-on cross-border rails, tokenised deposits, AI in core banking and the case for keeping choice in payments.

Our Sibos coverage leads with some of the biggest names in global transaction banking. Allison Shonerd of Bank of America looks at how banks are rebuilding payments infrastructure for a multi-rail, ISO 20022, around-the-clock world, while her colleague AJ McCray explains how Bank of America is making cross-border payments feel local. Citi's Bis Chatterjee considers where the line sits between a global bank and the infrastructure providers it partners with on tokenised rails, and Swift's Nick Kerigan sets out how tokenised deposits, stablecoins and central bank digital currencies can work side by side rather than compete. HSBC's Lewis Sun and Amber Henderson-Smart complete the line-up from Miami.

Elsewhere in the issue, Eric Bierry of SBS explains how AI is moving out of the pilot phase and into production in core banking, and why explainability and trust matter as much as the technology itself. Mambu's Victor Mithouard and ClearBank's Emma Hagan discuss building banking for what comes next, NetXD's Suresh Ramamurthi is joined by Lon Huffman of SavvyMoney, and Mastercard's Eimear Creaven, Pay.UK's David Crawford and Ron Delnevo of the Payment Choice Alliance all bring their perspectives on where payments are heading.

We also hear from Abrigo, AutoRek, Kani, Moorwand, PayDo, G+D, CoinsPaid and Temenos, with insights gathered across the conference season.
