I helped build Pleo from the ground up – and continue to enjoy every step of our journey.

Building a company like Pleo has been very rewarding. We solve real pain for finance departments, CFO’s, managers and employees by offering smart company credit cards that automate expense reports for businesses and simplifies company spending for companies across Europe.

Developing a product in the spirit of transparency, trust, and delegation has been a motivating factor to also nurture a future of work culture within Pleo. This has encouraged us to look at organizational structures differently, to offer employee experiences that are simple and scalable, and to work asynchronously and with remotes from the beginning. Today, we’re at a hyper growth stage with 600+ Pleo’ers, 70+ nationalities, with distributed teams across +20 markets (including remotes), and 7 local offices.

When I am not building Pleo, I enjoy advising VC/PE funds on FinTech and payments related topics, helping founders in the Nordic startup scene, as well as making angel investments in startups in Europe and US, focused on FinTech and software platforms.
