Monica Sasso is a business technologist with over two decades of experience in leading and delivering digital transformation and regulatory initiatives globally. As the Global Financial Services (FSI) Digital Transformation Lead at Red Hat, she helps banks, insurers, and fintechs leverage the power of open source, hybrid cloud and AI to improve their clients’ experience and operational efficiency as well as reduce risk and operational costs. Monica is also an IBM Industry Diamond, a prestigious recognition for her industry expertise and thought leadership. She is passionate about the intersection of regulation, innovation, and technology, and how it shapes the future of finance, the wider economy and society as a whole. She is a thought leader on digital and operational resilience, financial inclusion, AI ethics and all things RegTech. She is also the chairwoman of the Red Hat Global Women's Leadership Community, where she mentors and supports women in tech.
