As CEO of Mettle (NatWest’s digital bank), she took an MVP to 10k users and built a cloud-based digital bank from scratch. Most recently, as CEO of NEAR Foundation, she grew the ecosystem over 10x, increasing monthly active users from 50k to 14 million, Twitter followers from 300k to over 2 million, and raised $500 million in funds. At Circle, she pioneered the consumer application of blockchain, taking several products to market and building a user base of over two million in less than two years. Marieke Flament also helped move the blockchain agenda forward by working with key decision makers, including governments and financial policy makers across Europe.
