About Isabel Pitt

I am a driven and innovative Leader, expert in driving high-value, complex change across a range of ecosystems and company sizes. I’m charismatic and build relationships easily, which I leverage in order to influence strategies and outcomes. With a global career spanning multiple sectors, I bring a unique ability to join dots and people in order to push boundaries of real innovation and cultural change. In my current role as Head of Core Services, I report directly to the CTO and am responsible for leading the Product strategy for Core Function enablers, which support all of Zopa's Consumer & Product journeys. These include Payments, Open Banking, Transaction Data, Membership Data, Consumer Authentication, Bureau Integration and Evidence store. It's a 'jump out of bed' role, where the scaling foundational decisions we make play a critical role in enabling Zopa's growth journey. As an intra/entrepreneur at heart, I treat any company I chose to partner with as if it were my own; I invest myself fully. Since delivering Open Banking for Lloyds Bank in 2017, I have been bitten by the FinTech/PayTech bug as the customer and business model opportunities with API and Cloud have yet to be truly realised, and it’s exciting to be able to make new ideas real. I'm especially interested in how we can use these cutting edge capabilities so that everyone in society can benefit and stay protected. I am a practiced servant leader who aims to inspire and build a team culture of empowered decision making. I believe that learning fast through action, whilst encouraging play and expansive thinking, enables teams to stay resilient and deliver true value quickly. I also love to share my thinking on the need for Diversity in Fintech and Financial inclusion, as all the ecosystems within Finance should be accessible to all facets of our society.
