Anita’s experience is international, gained from living and working across Asia Pacific, Europe and the US. Anita Kimber brings specialised knowledge in areas of such as open data and open finance, customer insight, including Consumer Duty and ecosystem dynamics. She has a track record of being at the forefront of emerging digital disruption in regulated industries from distributed ledger technology with Australian Banks through to Open Banking in the UK. She is proud to be an adviser to board technology and risk agendas. A well-known and sought-after face in FinTech innovation, Anita Kimber brings credibility and policy insights across government, regulators, industry bodies, Fintechs and Banks. She has been recognised through the WIBF Achievement Award and through her inclusion on the Fintech PowerList (Top 35 Women in FinTech). She contributed to significant components of the Kalifa Review of FinTech, and is proud to have played a pivotal role in establishing a new industry body: the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT). She is a regular chair and judge on Fintech awards. Anita Kimber has increased diversity in her businesses though her courage to challenge, her commitment to research and her pro-bono voluntary and high impact leadership role in Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF). Anita Kimber holds a post graduate qualification in strategy and innovation and her dissertation was on Conduct Risk.
