About Ali Rahmatollahi

Ali Rahmatollahi joined Palamon in 2014 and became a Partner in 2016. He joined Palamon from Morgan Stanley where he spent nearly eight years in its Investment Banking division, most recently as an Executive Director in the Financial Sponsor Group. Prior to this he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in its General Strategy Consulting and Private Equity Practices. In 2004, Ali co-founded OP Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on opportunities in the Middle East. Private equity partner investing in European mid-market growth buyouts across software, tech-enabled B2B and B2C services, fintech, payments, and healthcare services. Over €25Bn of completed deals, including c. €1.5Bn principal transactions. Director on multiple Boards including Redpin, Thomas, Happy Socks. Swiss citizen. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Farsi. A Swiss national, he graduated from Boston University as a NCAA First Division All-American Athlete with a degree in Business Administration and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. Ali Rahmatollahi is fluent in English, French and Farsi.
