VTB Bank has developed and implemented its own cloud platform VTB.Cloud

VTB Bank has developed and implemented a new VTB cloud platform VTB.Cloud, designed to serve thousands of banking servers for development and IT support teams. The development and implementation of the platform made it possible to create a single-entry point for all areas of the IT landscape, as well as reducing the time taken to receive infrastructure products from several weeks to just minutes. At the same time, the user’s products are received completely in self-service mode.

VTB Online and VTB My investments mobile applications have already been transferred to the new cloud platform, which makes it easier and faster to develop new products and services to customers.

VTB’s cloud platform is continuing to develop in several directions. New cloud services are being developed to accelerate the bank’s IT and business processes. Another area of development is the creation of additional platform modules responsible for new functionality, for example, an analytics module that allows customers to upload and visualize data, or a module for predicting the optimal use of equipment.

The VTB.Cloud platform has received state registration with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property and is included in the register of domestic software of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Vadim Kulik, noted: Without cloud technologies, it is impossible to create applications that meet today’s architectural principles of development. Therefore, the creation of the VTB.Cloud platform is an important stage of VTB Bank’s digital transformation. We are proud that this is our own development, which was approved by the Ministry of Finance and allows us to eliminate any sanctions risks.”
