Trading Technologies’ TT® Platform Wins Two Categories at FOW Asia Pacific Awards: Trading System of the Year
For the second consecutive year, the TT platform of Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a global capital markets technology platform services provider, has won two categories in the FOW Asia Pacific Awards. Announced at a ceremony in Hong Kong yesterday, the awards included Trading System of the Year and the platform’s third annual recognition as Derivatives Trading System of the Year.
Hosted by Futures & Options World (FOW), the FOW Asia Pacific Awards are designed to recognize the “best and brightest innovations in the derivatives industry.” TT was selected as the winner in both categories by a specialist panel of experts from across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Alun Green, TT EVP and Managing Director, Futures and Options, said: “The APAC region represents a substantial growth opportunity for TT, and we continue to invest in resources and ensure we’re able to meet clients’ full range of needs. The trading opportunities in Asia continue to expand, and we’re now able to offer more asset classes than ever before and additional services across the trading life cycle. We are honored by these recognitions for the TT platform.”
TT has long had a strong footprint in the APAC region, with Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney offices and now a large percentage of employees based in India. The firm also operates more data centers in APAC than any other region.
With these FOW Asia Pacific honors, the company and TT platform have garnered 13 global and regional awards year-to-date, including six for its work in the APAC region. Categories included best-in-class recognitions for the trading system, algorithmic trading solution, order management system (OMS), execution management system (EMS) and trade surveillance solution.
