Silicon Valley Bank UK provides debt financing to Humanising Autonomy

Silicon Valley Bank UK, the financial partner of the innovation economy, today announced it has provided debt funding to London-based behaviour AI company, Humanising Autonomy. This financing will support the continued deployment of Humanising Autonomy’s ethical Behaviour AI computer-vision technology across the mobility and smart spaces sectors as well as its expansion into new verticals.

Launched in 2017, Humanising Autonomy offers ethical computer-vision software that understands, predicts, and interprets human behaviour to quickly, safely and accurately provide the context between people and machines, whether a vehicle, connected device, traffic control or any other automated machine. By connecting to an existing camera platform or video stream, the Behaviour AI firm provides actionable data and insights that businesses can use to make operational decisions, reduce risk and enhance human experiences.

“We are excited to be partnering with Maya and the Humanising Autonomy team on their next phase of growth,” said Bailey Morrow, Managing Director, Venture & Growth, Silicon Valley Bank UK. “This technology is critically important in helping bridge the gap between humans and machines, allowing both to interact and create a safer environment. With continued advancements in AI, we think Humanising Autonomy is well positioned to create an ethical and conscious foundation for the future of behavioural AI.”

“Working with Silicon Valley Bank means we are able to continue valuable work into the deployment of our ethical Behaviour AI computer-vision technology across the mobility and smart spaces sectors and to support expansion into new verticals,” said Maya Pindeus, CEO and co-founder of Humanising Autonomy. “The demand for human-centric technology is at its peak, and we’re excited to have the support from Silicon Valley Bank, to scale our work in translating human behavioural context into a language that automated and semi-automated technology can understand so that products and experiences are safer, efficient and more pleasant for people.”
