Taulia Partners With Cornèr Group to Issue Visa-enabled Virtual Card

Taulia, a leading provider of working capital management solutions and part of the SAP group, and Cornèr Group, have today announced a partnership to issue Virtual Cards to Cornèr Group’s B2B customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein from within the SAP ecosystem.

As one of the leading issuers of payment card products in Switzerland, Cornèr Group’s customers will gain enhanced visibility, streamlined operations and greater control over spending, all while seamlessly integrating with their SAP ERP and related business applications. Buyers will experience increased security, better spend management, and improved working capital efficiency, while suppliers will benefit from dependable payments and strengthened cash flow.

Danielle Weinblatt, Chief Product Officer, Taulia, comments: “At Taulia, we are committed to empowering businesses with innovative solutions that drive efficiency and financial flexibility. Our partnership with Cornèr Group marks an exciting step forward in expanding access to Virtual Cards, enabling businesses in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and other European countries to optimize spend management and improve working capital.

“By combining our expertise in working capital solutions with Cornèr Group’s strong financial services network, we are delivering a seamless and secure payment experience that benefits both buyers and suppliers.”

“We are delighted to collaborate with an experienced and a successful partner like Taulia. The Taulia Virtual Card solution definitely sets new standards in the everyday life of the modern business world. For B2B customers, these cards are not only practical but also offer real added value on multiple levels. On one hand, such cards can be requested individually and in real-time to make a payment, and then used immediately. On the other hand, they optimize administrative processes within companies, providing enhanced transparency and control, in particular for procurement and supply chain management” confirms Alessandro Seralvo, Executive Vice President Cornèr Bank.

Lucy Demery, SVP, Head of Visa Commercial Solutions, Visa Europe, comments: Last year we announced Visa and Taulia’s collaboration would transform payments across the ecosystem, so it’s fantastic to see this commitment evolve into reality. Embedded finance and virtual cards are crucial pillars in creating best-in-class payments automation, delivering a more seamless and efficient experience, and I look forward to seeing the results bear fruit.

The launch of the Cornèrcard-Taulia partnership for the issuance of Visa Virtual Cards will take place in the second half of 2025.
