Paymentology wins ‘Best Payments Service’ at APAC Payments Excellence Awards
Paymentology, the global issuer processor, has won the Best Payments Service Award at the APAC Payments Excellence Awards 2025, recognising excellence in its issuer-processing platform and service model across Asia Pacific.
The annual APAC Payments Excellence Awards, organised by the industry body Emerging Payments Association Asia, highlight innovation, collaboration and notable achievements across the payments sector.
Paymentology was recognised for its next-generation issuer-processing stack and service model, which enable banks, digital banks, and fintechs to launch and scale new propositions quickly, securely, and with deep localisation. The platform supports real-time data access, multi-cloud deployment, and 24/7 operational continuity, helping clients deliver tailored payment experiences across 60 countries and 14 time zones.
Winners were revealed at a cocktail evening on 4 November at Pier 1929, a venue overlooking Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, attended by senior payments leaders and regulators from across the region.
Minh-Ha Truong, Head of Growth, Asia Pacific at Paymentology, said: “We’re proud to receive the Best Payments Service award at the APAC Payments Excellence Awards 2025. Asia Pacific demands deep localisation and fast execution, and this recognition reflects the work we do with banks and fintechs across the region to bring new payment propositions to market and scale with resilience.”
“The APAC Payments Excellence Awards in its third edition celebrates outstanding payments innovation and excellence in the Asia Pacific region. The selection process is driven by a robust judging and evaluation process, led by a jury of 50+ judges who are well respected payments industry experts. We congratulate Paymentology on emerging from this rigorous process as the winner of the Best Payments Services award, representing the bold innovation and exceptional leadership shaping the future of payments across Asia-Pacific,” said Syed Musheer Ahmed, Managing Director, APAC Payment Excellence Awards.
The award comes as APAC sees rapid growth in digital and cross-border payments, highlighting Paymentology’s ability to scale with clients across markets, currencies and payment types, without compromising reliability or performance.
