John O’Hara Joins INETCO® Board of Directors

INETCO® Systems Limited, leader in real-time transaction fraud detection, prevention and data analytics, today announced that John O’Hara has joined INETCO’s Board of Directors as an independent director of the company.

“John is an accomplished technology leader in the financial service industry and an experienced board member,” said Bijan Sanii, President and Chief Executive Officer of INETCO. “We are confident that he will add great value to our Board and that INETCO will benefit from his insights, experience and counsel as INETCO establishes its place at the top of the global payment fraud prevention market.”

Having spent two decades shaping and delivering technology for leading banks, O’Hara is currently the CEO and co-founder of Taskize, a provider of cloud-based workflow to the financial services industry in fifty countries.

Previously, O’Hara held managing director and leadership positions at RBS, Bank of America, BP, and JPMorgan where he helped create the widely adopted FpML protocol for dealing in derivatives. He is also the inventor of the AMQP (ISO 19464) technology used by Microsoft, Amazon and IBM. He earned his engineering degree at Aston University.

“I am pleased to join the INETCO Board of Directors at this exciting time for the company,” said O’Hara. “I am already familiar with both the incredible technology they’ve built and the inspiring corporate culture they’ve nurtured. I look forward to working with Bijan and the executive team to grow the business and establish INETCO firmly as the top choice for omni-channel transaction monitoring and fraud prevention.”
