MAPFRE Becomes New Official Sponsor of Prestigious South American CONMEBOL Libertadores Football Tournament
MAPFRE and CONMEBOL announced the sponsorship agreement where the largest multinational insurance company in Latin America will be present in the largest football club competition on the continent.
The agreement, which begins in May 2024 and extends until December 2026, includes sponsorship by CONMEBOL Libertadores, and consists of brand activations and promotions in all matches of the competition in all countries where the tournament is held.
“At MAPFRE, we work to take care of what matters to our millions of customers, and in Latin America there are few things that matter more than football, a sport that promotes values such as effort, teamwork, equality, inclusion, self-improvement. or respect. That is why we have decided to take this step of sponsoring the CONMEBOL club competition to help promote sport in a continent united by a passion,” said Antonio Huertas, president of MAPFRE. “We want to be at the side of the fans, offer them valuable and unique experiences, and build an emotional connection with the audience in the long term,” he added.

At CONMEBOL we want each competition to connect with the fan, increasing their passion and creating unique moments and experiences,” commented Alejandro Domínguez, President of CONMEBOL.
With this agreement, MAPFRE will have visibility in the stadiums where the matches are played. On the playing field, press conference, mixed zone and flash interview; They will carry out activations in the stadium, in the Fan Zone and in the hospitality spaces; They will organize activities with legends and CONMEBOL ambassadors.
