Pine Labs Appoints Sameer Kamath as Chief Financial Officer
Global fintech platform Pine Labs today announced the appointment of Sameer Kamath as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Sameer will be responsible for the global finance strategy, accounting, investor relations, and providing financial leadership across the Pine Labs group.
Sameer Kamath brings with him a wealth of experience in financial leadership positions across leading companies. He was most recently the Group CFO at Avendus Capital where he led financial management, strategy, risk and compliance. Prior to that, Sameer was also the Director and Group Chief Financial Advisor at Motilal Oswal.
Commenting on the appointment, B Amrish Rau, CEO, Pine Labs, said, “Sameer’s proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving financial performance will be invaluable to Pine Labs as we continue to innovate and introduce cutting-edge fintech products in the market. We welcome him onboard and wish him the very best in this exciting role.”
Pine Labs continues to do pioneering technology work. The company recently built its own UPI Switch and integrated it with its Credit+ platform for speedier processing of transactions, including UPI payment features like AutoPay, link-based payments, e-RUPI, QR, and credit card payments.

Sameer is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, has completed his Post Graduation in Business Administration from NMIMS, Mumbai and has cleared Level II of the CFA program from CFA Institute, USA.
