Omri Greenberg Appointed to Principal at Red Dot Capital Partners

Omri Greenberg has been promoted to Principal at Red Dot Capital Partners, a venture capital firm specializing in early-growth Israeli startups. In this role, he will lead new investments, drive research, and support portfolio companies.

Omri brings a diverse background in entrepreneurship and investment management. He co-founded and served as CEO of OneView, a startup that developed a synthetic data generation platform for training computer vision models, with a focus on remote sensing, including satellite, aerial, and drone imagery. In mid-2022, the company’s assets were acquired by a strategic American buyer.

Since joining Red Dot two years ago, Omri has played a key role in driving investments in companies such as Stigg and Oligo. Earlier in his career, he worked as an engineer at Mellanox and SolarEdge. He is an alumni of Unit 81, the elite technological unit of the Israeli Intelligence Corps, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Red Dot Capital Partners was founded in 2016 by Yoram Oron and Yaniv Stern, later joined by partners Barak Salomon, Atad Peled, and Daniel Ardon Baratz. The fund invests in early-growth-stage startups and its investor base spans Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe, and the United States. Red Dot Manages $750M in AUM via three flagship funds and an Opportunity Fund dedicated to portfolio companies follow-on investments. Investments are currently being made from the fund’s third flagship fund, which is wrapping up its fundraising efforts these days.

Some of Red Dot’s notable investments to date include Global-e, which went public on NASDAQ in 2021 and currently trades at a $6.5 billion market cap; Armis, acquired by Insight Partners and Google’s investment fund for around $1.1 billion and currently valued at over $4 billion; Paragon, recently sold to AE Industrial Partners; Granulate, acquired by Intel for $650 million; as well as Coralogix, Travelier, Quantum Machines, Finout, Oligo, Anecdotes, and more.
