Monex USA Appoints Kyle Falconi as Head of Sales

WHY THIS MATTERS:
Corporate FX and international payments are undergoing a quiet but significant transformation as clients demand faster execution, better visibility and more sophisticated risk management. As volatility persists across currencies and global supply chains remain complex, sales organisations are increasingly expected to deliver consultative value supported by digital tools, not just pricing. Leadership appointments that combine deep market expertise with experience in sales automation and client engagement reflect this shift. Firms competing with global banks must now differentiate through service, technology and talent development. Strengthening commercial leadership signals a broader industry move toward modernising FX distribution while maintaining trusted advisory relationships—an essential balance as corporate clients look for partners that can scale with their international growth.

Monex USA, a trusted and leading provider of corporate FX, currency risk hedging services, and international payments, announced that Kyle Falconi has joined the firm as Head of Sales, joining the executive leadership team.

Falconi joins Monex USA following a long tenure as a Managing Director at Citi and previously served in FX Sales at Monex USA (formerly Tempus Consulting).

“We’re excited to welcome a proven leader in Kyle, who brings a clear vision for the sales team and an aligned goal to build Monex USA for success through close collaboration and strong fundamentals across every part of our organization,” said John Doyle, CEO of Monex USA. “Kyle’s leadership style will lend itself well to building strong partnerships, developing talent, and helping our clients grow their business. His experience at Citi will help drive Monex USA’s next phase of growth, including sales digital transformation, strategic partnerships, and building dynamic teams. We look forward to his leadership and to building Monex USA’s future together.”

At Citi, Falconi delivered record sales results and consistently drove revenue growth. He led the Commercial Bank FX sales organization, strengthening client engagement and expanding wallet share across the franchise. Falconi also spearheaded the rollout of Salesforce CRM, enhancing sales execution, collaboration, and pipeline visibility. In addition, he developed Dynamic Management FX, an automated FX and payments solution piloted across the Commercial Bank, advancing the firm’s digital strategy and elevating the client experience.

“I’m beyond thrilled to be part of an organization with 40 years of excellence in an industry that I have worked in for more than two decades,” said Kyle Falconi, Head of Sales at Monex USA. “I am grateful to John Doyle and the leadership team for the opportunity to lead and build a high-performing team grounded in accountability that will result in new growth and opportunities. We share a vision for delivering a strong client experience, and I’m looking forward to working closely with the sales team and colleagues across Monex USA to get started.”

FF NEWS TAKE:
This hire positions Monex USA to sharpen its competitive edge as FX sales becomes more technology-enabled and client-centric. The real impact will depend on execution—particularly how digital tools are embedded into frontline sales. Watch for progress in automation and partnership-driven growth as the firm enters its next phase.
