FinTech Wales is Delighted to Announce the Appointment of Lucy Bulley as Programme Director for the 2025 FinTech Wales Foundry

With an impressive track record of supporting and scaling startups across fintech, cyber security, SaaS, and beyond, Lucy brings a wealth of experience to the role. A seasoned Fractional COO, founder, and startup mentor, she has worked with scaling businesses across multiple tech sectors, both in Wales and internationally.

Lucy Bulley, Foundry Programme Director, said:

“I’m incredibly excited to join FinTech Wales and lead the next chapter of the Foundry. Wales has such a vibrant and collaborative tech community, and I’ve seen first-hand the power of programmes like this to transform startups. I’m looking forward to working with this year’s cohort to help them scale, raise investment, and make their mark in the fintech world.”

As Programme Director, Lucy will lead the delivery of the 2025 Foundry, shaping a dynamic accelerator programme that equips fintech startups with the skills, tools and connections they need to grow. From securing investment and scaling operations to building powerful peer and mentor networks, Lucy will work closely with the selected cohort to help them unlock their full potential.

Sarah Kocianski, CEO of FinTech Wales, added:

“Lucy’s passion for empowering startups, combined with her experience scaling fast-growth companies, makes her the ideal person to lead this year’s Foundry. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the team and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll have on the 2025 cohort.”

Now entering its fourth iteration, the FinTech Wales Foundry is a no-equity, not-for-profit accelerator designed to help early-stage fintech companies scale at pace. Backed by the strength of the Welsh fintech ecosystem, the programme offers participants one-on-one mentoring, expert-led masterclasses, access to investors, and exclusive networking opportunities with FinTech Wales members and partners. Previous cohorts have gone on to raise significant investment, form strategic partnerships, and expand into new markets—highlighting the Foundry’s proven impact.
