Broadridge Appoints Michael McPolin as Head of International Market Advocacy

Michael McPolin has been appointed Head of International Market Advocacy at Broadridge Financial Solutions, spanning the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

McPolin will lead Broadridge’s market advocacy efforts across EMEA and APAC, working with regulators, industry associations, and strategic clients to ensure the voice of the customer shapes regulatory and market structure developments. His focus is on delivering the best outcomes for clients and the wider industry by advancing transparency, resiliency and efficiency, while promoting mutualised solutions that help reduce cost and complexity. Based in London, he will report to Stephanie Clarke, Head of International Strategy and Corporate Development.

“Michael’s extensive experience and deep industry knowledge will be instrumental as we advance our international market expansion goals,” said Stephanie Clarke. “His ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build strategic relationships will be fundamental to empowering client and industry growth across our core segments of capital markets, asset management and securities services.”

McPolin brings nearly 30 years of senior-level experience within the securities services industry, having held leadership positions at J.P. Morgan and HSBC before joining Broadridge in 2020 as part of its leadership team for bank and broker dealer solutions.  In this new position, he will proactively identify market and regulatory developments pertinent to Broadridge International, working with the global regulatory affairs team to shape policy discussions and drive advocacy initiatives that support Broadridge’s wider business objectives.

“I am thrilled to step into this new role and expand our market advocacy engagements in support of Broadridge International’s strategic growth agenda,” said McPolin. “The financial services landscape continues to evolve rapidly, and I look forward to working with our talented teams and industry partners to navigate these changes – tapping into our trusted expertise and transformative technology to help our clients better operate, innovate and grow.”

This appointment underscores Broadridge’s commitment to international market expansion and follows the company’s continued investment in senior leadership across its global operations.
