Global tech festival NewCo returns to London
Global technology and media festival NewCo, has today announced the full schedule of its London event, taking place 14-15th March across several London city locations. For two days, London’s most iconic businesses will be opening their doors to the public and offering exclusive insights from a wide spectrum of founders and thought leaders.
The presentation schedule is shaping up to be the best year yet, including talks from Kate Mills, Director & Co-Founder of StateZero Labs who will discuss the world’s first solution-led blockchain lab for startups, Story Terrace’s Founder & MD Rutger Bruining, who will be leading a session about the art of capturing your life and creating a story and Join Founder, Ricardo Tannus will be discussing the simple art of connecting students to companies over a meal.
David Morris, Lead of NewCo London and Head of Technology & Media Careers at London Business School said “We are delighted to be part of NewCo London in its seventh year. As one of the most established tech festivals across the world, this year will see an unprecedented variety of businesses opening their doors to the public and inspiring entrepreneurs within the technology industry. We’re certain that 2019 will be the best year yet for the festival and we are looking forward to the day”.
NewCo was founded in San Francisco in 2012 by tech entrepreneur John Battelle, with the aim of connecting ‘festival goers’ with tech brands and taking intimate, founder-led sessions out of stuffy conference rooms and into the creative environments that host the most exciting businesses. The festival will also be held in Toronto, Mexico City and Lisbon, to name a few.
For the 4th year, NewCo London has partnered with London Business School, to organise and coordinate the festival across the city.
