When UK Fintechs Are Fighting Fit, Britain’s Growth Ambitions Become Reality
Fintech Fringe Festival, the UK’s largest event dedicated to scaling fintechs, will return on 9-10 September 2025 in London with its most ambitious programme to date – bringing founders, investors, banks, regulators, and industry heavyweights together to tackle the sector’s biggest growth opportunities and toughest challenges.
Now in its third edition, the Festival has doubled in size every year since launching in 2023. This year blends high-impact content, direct access to decision-makers, and bold, open-floor discussions that confront the industry’s most urgent topics head-on.
Less than two months after the Chancellor’s Mansion House speech outlined new measures to support fintech growth, Fintech Fringe will deliver the practical playbooks founders need to seize those opportunities now – from unlocking capital to scaling into new markets.
Thomas Easterby, Head of Fintech, HSBC Innovation Banking UK, said:
“The fintech ecosystem thrives when bold new players challenge established ways of thinking – especially when supported by experienced institutions willing to share how they’ve innovated and grown. Fintech Fringe Festival plays an important role in creating a space to foster these connections, whilst learning from one another. At HSBC Innovation Banking, we are delighted to be supporting as a Headline Partner and are looking forward to the ecosystem coming together for this year’s event.”
Janet Coyle CBE, Managing Director for Grow London, London & Partners, said:
“We have been proud supporters of the Fintech Fringe Festival since its inception and it’s great to see how quickly it has become such an important fixture on the UK fintech calendar, bringing together the people, ideas, and opportunities that help ambitious companies scale. This year’s programme will give founders the insights and networks they need to accelerate their growth, in London, across the UK, and into global markets.”
Calypso Harland, Founder of Fintech Fringe, said:
“We’re here to get fintechs fighting fit and thriving – in the UK and internationally. That means creating a space where no topic is off-limits, where founders connect with the people and strategies that move the needle. We take serious topics but deliver them with a twist – keeping the conversations high-energy, insight-packed, and always fun. Because when fintechs are fighting fit, Britain’s growth ambitions can be realised.”
