Techcombank Auto Earning Product Wins Gold at the Stevie International Business Awards®

Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (“Techcombank”) is delighted to announce that Techcombank Auto-Earning and the new upgraded version, Auto-Earing 2.0, has been recognised for excellence at the Stevie® 22nd Annual International Business Awards®, winning a Gold Stevie® Award for Excellence in User-Centred Product Design and the winner of two Bronze Stevie® Awards for Best AI-Enabled Product &  Best Financial Services Product. 

Techcombank Auto-Earning is a breakthrough AI-powered financial product that enables individuals and businesses to maximize profit from idle cash in their account, while maintaining instant and seamless current account transaction capabilities. Techcombank first launched the Auto-Earning product in 2024 and became the first bank in Vietnam—and one of the few in Asia—to offer an AI-driven automated earning product embedded directly into customer accounts.

Dubbed the “Oscars of international business”, the Stevie International Business Awards® (IBA) are among the most prestigious and reputable awards for businesses globally. With a 22-year history, this award has honored thousands of businesses worldwide, including many of the largest multinational companies and most well recognized global brands. 

In 2025, the Stevie® IBA Awards attracted more than 3,800 nominations from companies across 78 countries and territories. This year, Techcombank was the only Vietnamese bank, and one of only a very small number of leading Vietnamese companies, to be honored at the Stevie® IBA Awards for product excellence and innovation. The three Stevie® IBA awards won by Techcombank Auto-Earning represent a strong and independent endorsement of the quality and customer-centricity of the product.

The Techcombank Auto-Earning product was the result of 18 months of researching customer needs and developing specific product features to deliver safety, flexibility and profitability for customers. The outcome was a game-changing financial product that automatically and seamlessly moves idle cash balance from a customer’s current account into high-yield financial instruments. When customers need to spend their money, Techcombank Auto-Earning automatically sweeps money back into the current account to maintain a minimum balance. Techcombank Auto-Earning has created a whole new category of financial product in Vietnam by enabling customers to make profit on their idle cash, without changing their spending patterns.

Maintaining a fast pace of product innovation, Techcombank launched a new version of the product, Auto-Earning 2.0, in January 2025 to offer customers higher total returns and an even better user experience. Auto-Earning 2.0 has no constraint on the minimum or maximum balance required to use the product, making it accessible to more customers. It also uses a much more sophisticated AI-powered technology framework that learns from each customer’s income and spending behaviour to maximise profit generation from their idle balances.  These upgrades are not only technical improvements, but they also demonstrate Techcombank’s commitment to always “putting customers first” when developing new financial products.
