Taurus and Parfin Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Institutional Adoption of Digital Assets in Latin America and Europe

Taurus and Parfin, leaders in digital asset infrastructure for financial institutions, are joining forces to accelerate institutional adoption of digital assets, combining cutting-edge technology, security, governance, and compliance as core pillars. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the consolidation of an interoperable infrastructure ready to meet the demands of regulated markets on a global scale.

The partnership integrates Taurus’s full product suite into Parfin’s institutional platform, creating a comprehensive end-to-end solution for digital asset management: Taurus-PROTECT for secure custody and governance, and Taurus-CAPITAL for compliant token issuance and asset lifecycle management.

Parfin Platform, in turn, continues to expand its value proposition as a custody-agnostic solution. With support for HSM (hardware security module), the integration with Taurus enables the company to serve institutions with diverse security and architectural requirements, reinforcing Parfin’s commitment to flexibility, interoperability, and compliance.

The integrated Parfin and Taurus infrastructure supports a broad range of digital asset use cases, including cryptocurrencies, tokenised securities, and digital currencies. Institutional clients benefit from:

  • Access to liquidity through Parfin’s execution infrastructure, with custody and tokenisation provided by Taurus
  • Real-time wallet visibility and settlement execution through the Parfin interface, with policy enforcement handled by Taurus
  • Reduced operational and settlement risk through fully integrated custody and trading workflows
  • Faster deployment using API-based architecture with minimal integration overhead
  • Lower total cost of ownership by reducing reliance on fragmented third-party systems

“Taurus delivers the most complete and trusted digital asset infrastructure for regulated institutions,” said Lamine Brahimi, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Taurus. “Parfin shares our focus on institutional security, governance, and compliance. Together, we’re providing a scalable, high-performance solution that supports institutions as they expand their digital asset capabilities.”

“This partnership is an important step for institutions seeking global-standard infrastructure,” said Marcos Viriato, Co-Founder and CEO of Parfin. “At Parfin, we aim to serve as a trusted orchestration layer for financial institutions, with a custody-agnostic and interoperable platform. The integration with Taurus enhances that flexibility, allowing our clients to choose the solutions that best meet their needs in a secure and compliant environment.”

By partnering with Parfin, Taurus continues its expansion into Latin America, working alongside a trusted regional provider. Parfin brings deep market expertise and serves a growing client base — including banks, asset managers, and crypto-native institutions — through its permissioned blockchain infrastructure and institutional-grade trading platform.
