SmartSearch, the UK’s leading provider of digital compliance and anti-money-laundering (AML) solutions, expands its partnership with Twenty7Tec, a leading UK-based advice tech businesses, to deliver faster, more secure and smarter client verification for advisers, lenders and providers across mortgages, protection and wealth.

SmartDoc – SmartSearch’s innovative document and facial recognition technology, powered by Daon – will be integrated into Twenty7Tec’s ADVICE Platform, enabling users to verify clients securely and quickly without the need to switch between systems.

SmartDoc uses facial recognition and AI-driven checks to confirm a client’s identity from their ID and selfie, helping firms to securely verify more than 200 types of official identification documents across over 200 countries, while detecting potential fraud in real time.

Through this enhanced service, users will benefit from instant electronic identity and AML checks which deliver pass rates of up to 97% and complete in seconds, allowing professionals to onboard clients quickly while remaining fully compliant with evolving regulatory requirements.
