QUALCO UK Has Acquired the Everyday People Financial Solutions (EPFS) ‘Panel Manager’ Platform
The QUALCO Panel Manager acquisition marks a strategic step forward in UK debt recovery. QUALCO UK has acquired the Panel Manager platform from Everyday People Financial Solutions (EPFS), bringing with it key client contracts including E.ON Next and a top telecom provider. This move improves QUALCO’s ExtraCollect roadmap and enhances its standing in the market.
The transaction includes the novation of two prime client contracts including E.ON Next, and a major telecoms, internet and media provider, together with all of the intellectual property relating to the Panel Manager software application with any historical or future code or enhancements.
These major client contracts are seminal to the growth and reputation that QUALCO has in the UK market.
QUALCO will incorporate some elements of the panel management solution into its industry-leading ExtraCollect product. This will allow expedited functional growth as part of the product roadmap.
E.ON Next is one of the top three energy providers delivering gas and electricity to more than 5 million UK residential customers.
The second client is one of the UK’s largest telecommunications and media providers, offering fixed line and mobile phone, broadband and media channels to millions of customers.
Strategically, once these two new clients have been fully migrated to ExtraCollect, they will prove to be beneficial examples which highlight the ease of transfer across to QUALCO’s panel management software from other platforms.
This acquisition will demonstrate to other prospective clients that QUALCO (and its related consumer service, Togglit) are a natural choice in the selection of a provider who can make the management of third party servicers an easier proposition.
Commenting on the transaction, Head of Credit Risk at E.ON Next, Rob Mayer, said:
“We were excited to hear of QUALCO’s acquisition of the panel manager platform, this provides a low-risk path to migration across to their ExtraCollect platform.
“We look forward to working with the team at QUALCO and benefitting from the additional features their software will deliver to E.ON Next.”
QUALCO UK’s managing director, Christian Jacob, said:
“The acquisition offers QUALCO two excellent new Clients, and increased market share in Telcos and Utilities with a number of potential opportunities for the wider Qualco Group through products and services portfolio.
“It is a great strategic fit for our continued expansion in the UK market. Our thanks go to the team at EPFS for making the deal easy to conclude and to the respective clients for their support and enthusiasm, we are delighted with the outcome.”
Alasdair Skeoch, Managing Director, Everyday People Financial Services’, said:
“We are delighted to have concluded the sale of ‘Panel Manager’ to QUALCO. We have had an excellent relationship with Qualco for many years and we know both clients will be in safe hands. This enables EPFS to fully focus on our core business.”
With the QUALCO Panel Manager acquisition complete, QUALCO strengthens client migration to ExtraCollect and reaffirms its leadership in third-party panel management.
