Helen Bierton joins Lloyds to lead Everyday Banking

Helen Bierton, formerly of Starling Bank, has been appointed as Everyday Banking Director at Lloyds Banking Group.

Announcing the her appointment on LinkedIn, her new position at Lloyds will involve running the bank’s Everyday Banking service which covers current and savings accounts across all channels.

Beirton spent five years at the UK challenger bank, initially joining in 2018 as Head of Banking before being promoted to Chief Banking Officer in 2019, with the latter role encompassing the digital bank’s third party product marketplace and its Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) proposition, Engine by Starling.

Helen Bierton commented on her LinkedIn post: “I am delighted to have joined Lloyds Banking Group as Everyday Banking Director. I am really looking forward to working with my new colleagues across the group, and to working together to continue Helping Britain Prosper.”
