AU10TIX Selects Camunda to Orchestrate High-Volume KYC and KYB Identity Verification

WHY THIS MATTERS

The volume and complexity of identity fraud have reached a record high in 2026, with the global identity verification market projected to exceed 15 billion dollars this year. As synthetic identities and AI-generated deepfakes become standard tools for bad actors, the traditional method of embedding “if-then” compliance logic directly into application code has become a significant liability. This partnership matters because it decouples the decision-making process from the underlying tech stack, allowing AU10TIX to update verification rules in real time without a full software redeploy.

By using Camunda to orchestrate these mission-critical KYC and KYB flows, AU10TIX is addressing the “automation ceiling” that many fintechs hit when trying to scale globally. Standardizing how document capture, biometric checks, and third-party screening interact ensures that “exception handling”—the costly manual review of flagged cases—is minimized. For financial institutions, this means a faster path to “yes” for legitimate customers and a more robust, audit-ready defense against the increasingly sophisticated fraud landscape of 2026.

Camunda, the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, today announced that AU10TIX, a global leader in identity verification and fraud prevention, is using Camunda to support Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) workflows at scale – powering secure, high-volume identity verification worldwide. Camunda allows for the management of complex identity processes without embedding decision logic deep inside application code.

David Voschina, Vice President Research & Development at AU10TIX says: “Camunda gives us robust orchestration for some of the most critical processes in our business. By leveraging standardized, configurable workflows, we can scale faster, introduce new verification scenarios more efficiently, and provide greater transparency. Continuous innovation is essential to staying ahead through a proactive defense framework, and Camunda strengthens our ability to anticipate threats.”

AU10TIX has been working with Camunda since 2022 and continues to expand its use of the platform.Camunda coordinates document and photo capture, automated authenticity and consistency checks, third-party risk screening, and decision handling into one transparent business process. Results are consolidated into a single case, automating approval and decline decisions while routing exceptions to manual review when necessary. Centralized monitoring and analytics through Camunda Optimize provides operational oversight, performance transparency, and SLA accountability across AU10TIX’s high-volume identity operations.

Stéphane Faivre-Duboz, Vice President Sales EMEA at Camunda, adds: “Identity verification sits at the heart of trust in digital services. With Camunda, AU10TIX has a scalable orchestration foundation that connects systems, services, and decisions into one governed process – enabling both compliance and continuous growth.”

FF NEWS TAKE

The shift toward “agentic orchestration” is the defining theme of enterprise automation in 2026, and the AU10TIX-Camunda collaboration is a textbook example. While 71 percent of organizations now use AI agents, many struggle to move beyond simple chatbots into mission-critical production. By leveraging Camunda, AU10TIX is moving identity verification from a static “gatekeeper” model to a dynamic, governed process that can manage the exponential diversity of global data endpoints.

The centralized monitoring provided by Camunda Optimize is perhaps the most underrated part of this announcement. In a regulatory environment where the UK and other major jurisdictions are tightening AML oversight, having a single, transparent source of truth for every onboarding decision is a major competitive advantage. However, as the industry moves toward “reusable KYC” and “Know Your Agent” (KYA) frameworks, the challenge will be maintaining this level of transparency across increasingly decentralized digital ID schemes. Overall, this move reinforces that in the 2026 trust economy, the winner isn’t the firm with the most AI agents, but the one with the best orchestration to control them.
